The Team

Pauline Ellyard:

Pauline has been designing and making ladies clothing for the past 24 years. She originally started off her business making uniforms for the neighbourhood school children whilst managing a busy household of her own with 5 children underfoot. From here she moved into designing and manufacturing ladies fashion clothing with the fuller, more voluptuous woman being catered for. This new company needed a name and so 'Pell Fashions’ was born. The name coming from the first initial in her Christian name and the first three letters in her surname. As C.E.O. of Pell Fashions the company's volume quickly increased as the name became synonymous with quality and thousands of garments were being produced annually.  As the children grew up and left, Pauline found that she had time available for other activities and not being one to sit still for long, she went to the local lawn bowls club and enrolled for lessons. When it came time to purchase the clothing for her new found sport, the price and quality of what was then currently available did not impress - so Pell Sports was then created. Pauline now continues to bowl, finds time for her children and grandchildren and oversees the pattern making process of our bowling wear and its manufacture.

Vincent Ellyard:

Vincent Ellyard after working as a plumbing quantity surveyor for 24 years is now applying his skills to managing the sales, marketing, purchasing, storage, distribution, administration and financial demands of Pell Sports. As a regular, avid and competent lawn bowler he assists Pell Sports in keeping pace with the bowlers current needs and acts as an ambassador for the company. He is the backbone for the financial and accounts side of the business as well as involving himself with sales, deliveries and materials ordering. He directly liaises with suppliers, associations and customers.

bulletHolds a Victorian Ladies Bowling Association’s license to manufacture their women’s navy bowling uniforms.

bulletProvides bulk club orders as well as individual customer orders.
bulletManufacturer direct through mail order and telephone sales.
